What the Principles of Accounts exam contains
O Level Principles of Accounts, or POA, is about recording and reporting a business’s money. The exam has two written papers, both made up of structured questions. Paper 2 includes preparing a full set of financial statements and a question where you choose between two business options and give reasons. Topics include the accounting equation, double entry and the ledger, the trial balance, adjustments for accruals, prepayments and depreciation, and financial statements for sole traders and private limited companies.
These are school prelim papers in the O Level format, from our own collection. They are not national O Level papers. G3 is Singapore’s new name for the subject level that matches the O Level (what G3 means). If you own one of these papers and want it taken down, email hello@freepastpapers.com.
