What the Biology exam contains

AQA A-level Biology (7402) has three 2-hour papers. Paper 1 (91 marks) covers the first four topics, from biological molecules to genetic information and variation. Paper 2 (91 marks) covers topics 5 to 8: energy transfers, responding to change, genetics, populations, evolution and ecosystems, and the control of gene expression. Paper 3 (78 marks) can test the whole course, with questions on practical skills, analysis of data and a 25-mark essay.
