What is free: OCR first gives each series to schools for mock exams. About 14 months after the exam, it goes on OCR’s public site and stays there for at least five years, and longer for maths and science.
What is held back: Until then, the most recent series are for teachers only, on OCR’s Teach Cambridge site.

What the Biology A exam contains
OCR A Level Biology A (H420) has three papers. Paper 1, Biological Processes, and Paper 2, Biological Diversity, each last 2 hours 15 minutes and carry 100 marks; each tests its own modules plus the foundations of biology. Paper 3, Unified Biology (1 hour 30 minutes, 70 marks), can draw on the whole course. Practical skills are tested in every paper, and the practical endorsement is reported separately.
