What is free: OCR first gives each series to schools for mock exams. About 14 months after the exam, it goes on OCR’s public site and stays there for at least five years, and longer for maths and science.
What is held back: Until then, the most recent series are for teachers only, on OCR’s Teach Cambridge site.

What the Physics A exam contains
OCR A Level Physics A (H556) has three papers. Paper 1, Modelling Physics, and Paper 2, Exploring Physics, each last 2 hours 15 minutes and carry 100 marks, and each opens with multiple-choice questions. Paper 3, Unified Physics (1 hour 30 minutes, 70 marks), can draw on the whole course. Practical skills are tested in every paper, and the practical endorsement is reported separately.
