What the Maths D exam contains
Cambridge O Level Mathematics (Syllabus D), code 4024, on the 2025 to 2027 syllabus, has two papers of 2 hours and 100 marks each, and they count equally. Paper 1 is done without a calculator and Paper 2 with a scientific calculator. Both mix structured and open questions, and both print a list of formulas. Grades run from A* to E. Topics: number, algebra and graphs, coordinate geometry, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, transformations and vectors, probability and statistics. The June 2024 papers on Cambridge’s page use the older format, with a longer calculator paper.
